Behind The scenes [@Ovada warehouse gallery, 2024]
My colleague, Laura Hope, and I curated this exhibition at OVADA Warehouse Gallery in Oxford, UK which was open to the public from 3 - 14 July 2024. This exhibition celebrated the artists who have contributed to the OVADA community - including work by student volunteers, trustees, staff and studio holders.
Exhibiting artists included: Rachel Barbaresi, George Bradford, Frances Burton, Sarah Catterall, Jan Crombie, Livvy King, Laura Hope, Rotem Linial, Rosie McLean, Laura Novo de Azevedo, Hugh Pryor, Ismael Rodriguez, Vidhi Singhal, Ella Soni, Julia Thaxton, Milica Tičerić, Ysella Tucker, Mita Vaghela and Donette Victor
Our Opening Night + Creative Thursday Meet up was on 4 July 2024 from 6 - 8 PM
From 6pm we were serenaded by Charlie Harfleet playing the guitar (hidden beneath the toppled ladder)
At 7 PM on the opening night, we held an interactive game of Pairings, a cinema - inspired game by developed by OVADA studio holder artist Rotem Linial
